Pre-Wedding Photoshoot at Cannock Chase on Film

On a warm summer’s day, I met with Megan & Daryl for their pre-wedding photoshoot at Cannock Chase. This location in the Summer is so beautiful! White blooming trees, fields of long grass, and stunning landscape – a perfect location for engagement photos.

The beauty of Cannock Chase

Cannock Chase is known for its beautiful landscapes, and in the Summer, it is nothing more than magical. Long grasses and white blossom trees beautifully created a natural frame for Megan & Daryl’s pre-wedding photoshoot. Early morning light added a dreamy and even lighting, which the film captured so beautifully.

Pre – wedding photoshoot outfit

For their outfits, Megan chose to wear a long cotton dress in a soft and natural colour and a cardigan. Her outfit was simple yet comfortable, and the dress looked beautiful. Daryl also wore neutral-coloured, relaxed clothing made from natural fabrics like linen and cotton that complemented Megan’s outfit beautifully. Their neutral and natural outfits were perfect for the outdoor engagement photos, making everything feel natural and timeless.

Romantic picnic setup

After taking photos in the long grass field, Megan and Daryl were happy to relax on the picnic blanket and enjoy a chilled lemonade. Pre-wedding photoshoot picnic setup was planned in a romantic style. In colours of blush, pink, and warm whites. We styled it with some chilled sparkling lemonade, fresh figs, grapes, and flowers in bold colourful tones, styled in the handmade round wicker picnic basket. A large natural cotton blanket was perfect for this whole picnic setup. Simple details, soft colours, and natural textures created a relaxed, natural yet romantic look for this Cannock Chase pre-wedding photoshoot.
