Norwood Park Wedding in Nottingham

Gorgeous summer sunshine greeted me as I arrived at Norwood Park to capture the wedding of Becky and Charles. Norwood Park is a beautiful exclusive private country estate in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, restored to its original grandeur. This historical wedding venue is just beautiful, especially in the summer.

My day started capturing Becky and her bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal room full of natural lightning. Girls looked relaxed, especially Becky, who was more than ready to walk down the aisle at Southwell Minster in style.

I enjoyed every second I spent photographing at the bride’s place. It was perfect wedding morning – so relaxed, calm, full of sunshine and love!

 

Wedding accessories and meaningful items for bride.

My day started by photographing all the beautiful bride’s details. When I arrived, I saw that Becky had selected some of the most beautiful and heartfelt wedding accessories for her wedding day. It was my pleasure to capture each of them. Below are a few that I absolutely loved.

Wedding bouquet photo charms

Having memorial photo charms attached to the bride’s flower bouquet is a beautiful way to honour and remember loved ones who have passed away and cannot be a part of this so special moment. However, weddings are a celebration of love there always will be a time to reflect and remember those who are no longer with us today. That is why Becky chose these beautiful and meaningful memorial photo charms so her loved ones can still be a part of their wedding day.

Jewelled bridal captain hat

This embellished bridal captain hat is a must-have for any bride to make her feel extra special. This jewelled captain hat is not just for the hen party; Becky worn it during the wedding party, and she looked stunning and stylish. This bridal hat adding an extra touch of luxury and making every bride feel truly special.

 

Capturing timeless memories for a lifetime.

The ceremony and wedding vows were taken at the stunning and historical Southwell Minster. It is located in a rural setting and is the hub of Southwell town.  Southwell Minster is the most wonderful setting for a wedding; the gardens are beautiful and the minster itself makes the most incredible backdrop for photographs.

The speeches, wedding breakfast and the evening reception all took place in The Gallery room, and a good time was had by all. Tables were decorated with tall flower centrepieces with white and pale blush blooms. And beautiful pampas grass completed the look. The Gallery room looked amazing!

Without a doubt, both their fathers saw what their children shared was special, a bond that couldn’t be broken. This bond was formally celebrated with a wedding at Norwood Park wedding in Nottingham and their love was on display for all the share.

Becky and Charles one of the nicest, most kind, and lovely couple I have had the chance to work with. Their families and friends were just amazing, and I can’t thank you them enough for allowing me to document this so special celebration. The love shared on the day makes those around feel better. I wish this amazing couple nothing but the best together… This Norwood Park wedding is one I will never forget!
